Wanted to post an update letting everyone know that I'm making some changes to my online store over the next few days. The changes are relatively minor at this point and all of this should actually go unnoticed. However there will be some internal changes that will allow for more improvements in the future. Along with bigger and better things! :-) So for now just to say if anyone notices anything that doesn't look right please let me know and I will address it immediately. Thank you very much!

Today I am releasing AppDelete Version 3.1.2. It's not a huge update but it is exciting because it's the first time AppDelete is being released with Chinese localization! Also, a random bug where a selected item might not be moved to the trash has been fixed. AppDelete will also use a little less memory than before, and there are a number of other optimizations to the code as well. All Version 3 users should update to this latest Version 3.1.2. As always paid users can update via the AppDelete menu, and anyone who wants to give AppDelete a try can do so by visiting my Try page. And as a reminder for anyone still using AppDelete Version 2 the latest release was Version 2.2.4 released last month, so all Version 2 users should be using that release. If anyone has any updating issues please let me know and you will be taken care of promptly. Thank you for your continued use and support of AppDelete! Until next time...

I hope everyone is having a great year! Today I am releasing an update to AppDelete Version 2. This latest release is Version 2.2.4. This update fixes an issue where AppDelete might not launch on some older Macs, and also includes various optimizations on all systems. It is a recommended update for all Version 2 users and actually all Version 2 users should be now running Version 2.2.4. As always you can update from within AppDelete and if anyone has an issue updating please contact me and I will take care of this immediately. Although Version 3 is the ideal choice for users with newer Macs, Version 2 should still run very well and is necessary for systems prior to Leopard. As for other news be on the lookout for another Version 3 update this summer, and possibly even a new project released later this year... :-) But more on that later! As always support is available anytime and thank you for using AppDelete!

Today another update to AppDelete is available...Version 3.1.1. It is a relatively minor update but it does take care of a few things: Fixes issue where AppDelete might not launch on a user account, Expanded Apps panel search, Various localization edits, and Other miscellaneous internal improvements. I have been getting great feedback regarding Version 3.1, and this latest update will only improve upon it. I do suggest that everyone update to the latest version. And actually AppDelete should notify you that there is an update available so you can let AppDelete update itself. Well I guess that's about it for now. As always I'm here to assist anyone who might need some help. Also, there are a number of things in store for AppDelete in the future so keep looking out for updates as they are released. Thank you for using AppDelete and great to have you on board!

I have received a couple of random reports where the user was not able to launch Version 3.1 in a non-admin account. In both of these cases a reinstall of AppDelete resolved the issue. If anyone experiences something like this please let me know and I will assist you in fixing the problem. Other than that all is going well I believe with the new release. Of course I will continue to monitor everything closely which is normal after a new release, and I look forward to any user feedback. Thank you very much!

I'm happy to announce today that AppDelete Version 3.1 is now available! This is a bit longer than I normally like between updates but I think you will find Version 3.1 a nice update. Version 3.0.1 had a good run for the past few months but it's now time to move along! Here are some of the changes you will find in this latest release: 64-bit support, 4 new languages (French, German, Italian, Swedish), new "refreshed" icon design, new "Hidden" mode, faster and more accurate searching, expanded Others panel, Archive and Delete without re-searching, Select All/None in all panels, and more. There are also minor bug fixes and optimizations throughout including the areas of stability and trash monitoring. I hope you will enjoy the latest release of AppDelete and there's still plenty more on the way with additional languages, features, and improvements. For new users you can download a trial from my Try page and for current paid users AppDelete should tell you there's an update available or you can check manually in the menu. For assistance please email anytime. As always I look forward to your feedback and glad to have you as an AppDelete user!

There are a few new ways to follow the latest news regarding AppDelete. For Twitter or Facebook users there is now an AppDelete page for both! With social networking becoming more and more popular I thought it was time to make sure AppDelete gets included! So for those that are interested the AppDelete Twitter page is http://twitter.com/AppDelete and the AppDelete Facebook page is http://facebook.com/AppDelete. There are also links on the bottom of each page on the website. And as a note...some smaller updates get posted a little more regularly there especially on Twitter. So stop by and I'll see you there! :-)

Just wanted to let everyone know that AppDelete Version 3.1 just needs a few last minute language translations and it will be ready for release. It will also be featuring a new "refreshed" icon design which contributed to a longer wait as well. There are a number of other upgrades and improvements that I won't mention at this time, but I do hope you find it will be worth the wait! I want to thank you for all the great feedback I've been receiving for the current version, and I can assure you I pay close attention to all feedback and it will be used to improve AppDelete on an ongoing basis. I hope the new year is treating everyone well and I'll be in touch again very soon...

I have been a bit quiet recently but today I am releasing Version 3.0.1. Version 3.0.1 is a relatively minor update but it addresses a few things and is a recommended update for all users. In this update a few random issues with stability and memory usage are addressed, as well as refinements in file association and other miscellaneous internal improvements. I have been monitoring everything closely since the initial release of AppDelete 3.0 and I must say I'm very pleased with all the feedback I've been receiving...Thank You Very Much!!! I also just finished a MacUpdate promo and the results were overwhelming and I'm glad to see so many people interested in AppDelete. I would like AppDelete to be the main uninstaller for Macs while having full customer service with a very reasonable price, and I will keep working hard to make this happen! Now for paid users please update your AppDelete from within the AppDelete menu. Version 3.0 introduced a new updater and it should be very easy to do so. Actually AppDelete should tell you when there's an update available but you can also check manually anytime. For new users you can download a trial from my Try page or one of the various sites on the web. As always if assistance is needed please do contact me anytime. And looking forward to the future the next release of AppDelete will be a significant one, with new features and languages and more! And your feedback will be used to make further improvements. Again thank you for using AppDelete!

I would like to announce that AppDelete Version 2.2.3 has been released today! Although AppDelete 3.0 is the newest version of AppDelete Version 2 will continue to be updated for current Version 2 users and those on older OS versions. With Version 2.2.3 there are various improvements for running on Snow Leopard, links for those wishing to upgrade to Version 3, and other miscellaneous improvements. For those that choose to stick with Version 2 or those that have an older OS I recommend using this latest release. As always a trial is available on my Try page, and current paid users just update from within AppDelete. If there are any users still being affected by the bug in the old updater please email for assistance and I will help you right away. I would also like to mention that Version 3.0.1 is in development and other features that will be coming in future releases. There is always something going on regarding AppDelete and if you have any questions just let me know. Thank you for using AppDelete!

Another quick update to address a few users who have received "garbled" text when trying to download AppDelete. Until now I have not received any reports like this. Basically this comes from the browser trying to open the file instead of downloading it. As these few users have found usually trying in a different browser or right-clicking and selecting to download the file resolves this issue. But I have also made some changes on my server to prevent this from happening so that a normal click will initiate a download in these cases. Thank you for the feedback and bringing this to my attention and there should be no further issues. My apologies for any inconvenience and as always any issues brought to my attention will be dealt with promptly. Again I appreciate the great response to AppDelete 3.0 and I'm always available for support.

I wanted to post a quick update saying I have made some changes on my site that should resolve the issue some users were having with readability. For most it was never an issue and now hopefully it won't be an issue with any users. I will continue to monitor this situation and any additional feedback is appreciated. And I wanted to say thank you for the great reception for AppDelete 3.0! I'm quite busy watching over this new release and I'm very happy to hear all the great feedback! I will continue to monitor this very closely to look out for anything that might need to be addressed. With any new release questions arise and attention is needed so I am making sure that any necessary support is handled promptly. Thank you for choosing AppDelete 3.0!

Well AppDelete 3.0 is starting to make its way into people's hands and so far the response has been great...I really appreciate it! I wanted to post quickly about Version 2.2.2 users not being able to update to Version 3.0. There is a small upgrade fee to go from Version 2 to Version 3.0 and that's the reason the updater in Version 2.2.2 is not telling users there's an update available. If you have anything less than Version 2.2.2 then you can update to Version 2.2.2. The cost for updating to Version 3.0 if you are a paid Version 2 user is just $3.99 and you can complete your upgrade on the Buy page. Again updating is not required as Version 2 will continue to be supported and updated, however after giving Version 3.0 a try you might find that all the improvements and new things are worth the small upgrade fee. My apologies for any confusion and if you have any further questions or need assistance don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Thank you!

I'm happy to announce that AppDelete Version 3.0 is finally here! Version 3.0 is an all-new version that has been in development for some time as a follow-up to the popular AppDelete Version 2. For those that might not know AppDelete is an uninstaller for Macs to make sure that Apps or whatever you need to uninstall gets done the right way. Version 3.0 has been completely rewritten and while it should still feel familiar for current users you can expect to find improvements in every area. You will find improvements in speed, accuracy, ease of use, looks, new features, again in every area! With new panels and search options, new features such as Archive and the long awaited Orphans feature, and a new update system I do hope you will agree that AppDelete 3.0 is a nice upgrade to Version 2. There's too much to list here but just visit my More Info page and you can read all about it. Or if you're ready to give it a try head on over to my Try page to test it out now! All of the purchase options are also available on my site and there is an available upgrade for existing registered Version 2 users. I have done my best to lay out all the information clearly but if I can answer any questions please send me an email and I will be happy to! Also, I will note that AppDelete 2.2.2 is still available and additional updates will follow. So if you have an older OS (AppDelete 3.0 is Leopard/Snow Leopard only) or you would just like to stick with AppDelete 2.2.2 that's ok too as it's compatible with Panther through Snow Leopard. But I think once you give Version 3.0 a try you'll want to upgrade if you can! Ok I think that's enough for now...looking forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for using AppDelete 3.0!

I have received a few reports concerning my site that the text is difficult to read or looks faded and I'm looking into this. I can assure you that normally it looks ok however under certain monitor setups, etc. this effect can happen. If you do experience something like this and can let me know that would be great. Again most likely you will not experience this and if you did viewing in a different browser or different screen will likely resolve the issue, but of course I don't want current/potential users to have to adjust their setup just to read my site so adjustments will be made. Thank you for your patience in this matter. Up next...AppDelete 3.0!

It's been quite busy since the release of Snow Leopard and I wanted to bring you up to date on a few things. I have updated my site to show that AppDelete is compatible with Snow Leopard. I do recommend that you run the latest version which is 2.2.2 for the best results. As a general rule it's always best to run the latest version because each release brings improvements over previous versions. You should get good or even better performance out of AppDelete on Snow Leopard and if for some reason you are not please let me know. I have had very few issues reported to me and in every case all that was needed was a version update. I know the bug in the updater that I have mentioned in the past has caused a bit of trouble, but if you need assistance don't hesitate to let me know and I will resolve the issue promptly. Also with a new OS release brings cases where AppDelete will stop working for one reason or another, again please let me know and I will take care of it. Now a word about AppDelete 3.0...it's getting very close to release! I will now say that's it's on schedule for a September release. Please keep checking back for the latest updates and when released you will find all the necessary information about AppDelete 3.0 and how to try/purchase/upgrade on my site. If you have any questions now just let me know and I'll be happy to answer them as always.

Well it's now official that Apple will be releasing Snow Leopard on August 28. So I thought it would be appropriate to give an update regarding AppDelete. First of all AppDelete 3.0 is on schedule for release shortly after Snow Leopard is out. I won't post an exact release date just yet and Apple is actually a bit ahead of schedule with Snow Leopard, but you can expect to see AppDelete 3.0 in the very near future. Now about AppDelete 2.2.2 it will continue to run on Snow Leopard and will continue to be updated in the future. I will soon change my site to reflect this. Though AppDelete 3.0 when released will bring a lot of new things AppDelete 2.2.2 and future releases will still be supported. I will be giving another news update soon prior to the release of AppDelete 3.0 but for now you can rest assured that whether you choose AppDelete 2.2.2 now, wait for AppDelete 3.0, or later upgrade to AppDelete 3.0 you will not have any issues at all. For any further questions don't hesitate to send me an email and I can answer them for you. Keep checking back here or on my site for the latest developments. Thank you and until next time...

I would like to post again regarding the problem some users are having updating to AppDelete Version 2.2.2. It seems that in some of the older versions of AppDelete the auto-update feature is not working properly. I do apologize for this inconvenience. It was unfortunately affected by my recent domain change. So that it's clear the latest release of AppDelete at this time is Version 2.2.2. You will always see the latest release referenced on my site. If your current copy of AppDelete is not Version 2.2.2 and it's telling you you're up to date then the update feature is not functioning properly. Please email me and I will fix it for you right away. If you are running Version 2.2.2 you have nothing to worry about as it's not affected by this issue. Also future releases will not be affected. Again my apologies for the trouble and if you have any questions email anytime! These changes are to prepare for the future of AppDelete and the bug was unfortunate. And as a note...this RSS feed has become my new blog and will always have the latest news regarding AppDelete and my work. Thank you!

I want to welcome you to my new website! And I want to give you the latest news regarding AppDelete. First about the site it's been long overdue but I finally have the redesign. It was meant to be simple and easy so that users and potential users can get information or support or purchase AppDelete quickly. The transition to my new domain, support email, and website is basically complete, although continued improvements are always in the works. Second regarding AppDelete you might notice now at the bottom of my site it says AppDelete 3.0 is coming soon! Yes it's true and you can expect that after Snow Leopard is released AppDelete 3.0 will follow shortly. I won't give away all the details here but I can tell you it's been redesigned from the ground up and it will be comfortable to use for existing users while providing major improvements and new features all around. For further questions or if you're interested in pre-release testing just send me an email. I've been very busy preparing AppDelete for the future and as always feedback regarding my work is welcome. Thank you for your continued support and interest and you'll hear from me again soon!
